Ok I don't think this is a preference thread really but I ain't really the sharpest hunk of cheese out there so correct me if I'm wrong.
I just want to know what heads are good for having a pocket towards the top of your head or what would be a good way to string a head to get a pocket up there.
thanks

you are talking about a pocket referred to as a "high" pocket. you can string one in any type of head if you know what your doing. In my opinion however, it is easier to string a high pocket in a pinched head. As to learning how to do it, you simply need to use the high pocket tutorial. You can find it by searching the forums using the search bar.
Welcome to the forums and good luck with your stringing.

Heads with a forward cant will aid in making a high pocket, such as a Bionic.

P2, or any crankshaft head is made for having a high pocket in them, but any head can have a high pocket, read Mustang_Lax's tut on high pockets.

IHSLAX4 is right about the tutorial but I have an old revolution that I pinched myself and I love the way that the high pocket we put in it came out.
