straight begginer or as u might say noob

yea yea i am a beginier. i know jack **** about lacrosse except that i want to learn how to play. I am posting here to try and get an idea of what would be the best head/shaft or complete stick to learn with. i want one cheap enough so i can grap about 3 and practice throwing and catching with my buddies who are also interested in the sport. I am planning to get good enough to join my school team (next year around this time) and i just want to get an early start. Thanks

after reading here and doing some research i am leaning towards stx av8. is this good for a high school team. and what do you guys think for using this to learn and build technique???

try catching and passing with both hands, practice scooping, shooting, and cradling, and after a while you will get better. Don't get frustarted if you do bad at first becasue eventually it will become easy.

yeah really any "beginner stick" is personally when i played mid i used a gait icon wich ui loved and still use when i need to break out the shorty so i guess i would suggest the icon but its entirly up to u

yes, it is. It has a wide face to help beginners learn how to catch properly and can stand up to high school play. May also want to look into a Gait Icon. Another great beginner head with basically the same attributes as the AV8

AV8 is a good stick to learn w/ then if you do well and enjoy the game step up to a better more expensive stcik
