The first true test for Delaware. If they don't win but it's close (within 2 or 3 goals), do they still have the respect from you people?

Eh, as much as I hate to agree with you Bwine, Go Del. Alex Smith is too much of a god to disagree, and I hate Albany.

Where did you get these rankings, the most recent rankings have Albany at 9 and Delaware at 11. Anyways, it should be close, but i'm gonna have to go with Albany, there attack is one of the best in the country with Merrick Thompson and Frank Resetarits (sp?) and their D was proven against Hopkins.

Delaware also has a great attack and there defense has only given up 1 man down goal the whole season.

They go with the USILA one. I think writers come up with the Nike/IL one, I personally think that poll is a bunch of crap. All about what you did last week and the tradition of your program.

yeah Delaware is ill this year. G-town and Duke will be the biggest bench marks of how good they really are. However I don't know if it matters but Duke beat st. joes 18-4 if I member correctly and UD beat st. joes 24-6 (I was at that game but the final is a little fuzy cuz I think my brain was frozen). I think UD is in the hunt for more than just a CAA championship. quarter finals in the NCAA tornament maybe?

I was at the game. Albany was down 5-6 at half. After that they scored 7 unanswered points, then Delaware scored once and Albany again once. The final score was 13-7. Go Danes!

Delaware won on face-offs 14-24.

They got a lot of shots. But according to the box score, they only cleared the ball 50% of the time. That can't win anyone games.

Delaware can win all the face offs they want but it's not gonna make a difference. Queener is a beast and Albany is going to make a believer out of all of you who dont think they deserve anything. I was at the game and Albany had 7 unanswered goals. That says something about them as a team.

Just so you people know Cam Howard played today. I think that had something to do with it. 8 penalties, never helps. 7 unanswered goals says nothing about a team against an unexperienced defense. This D is still learning to play together with the addition of Rob Smith.

Albany scored twice man up. Delaware had only been scored on once all season man down.

Albany's on a roll. The basketball team win the automatic bid to the NCAAs - and the men's lacrosse is ranked 2nd.

Albany has had good talent...they had a good sleeper team last year and are trying to prove themselves this year...dont underestimate them...they might surprise you...
