View Full Version : Help with Stringing my Money

This is the first time i have stung up a goalie stick (just to warn you). The only problem i have is the ball gets cought up on the 1st shooting string and dosent have a smooth exit. The ball basicly goes into the ground 5 feet in front of me. I think i have to add another shooter but im not positve, What do you guys think?

P.S. Should i dye the whole head black, the money sign pink, pink mesh, and black x-lace? I think im going to.

If its soft mesh than that's your problem. Buy some new mesh(I recommend 10D) and string it with that.

i think its hard mesh, very soft hard mesh though

definatly get new mesh, tighten the bottom string, and i use closed sidewalls to get rid of whip

Try tightening up the bottom string. From there, pound the pocket in the middle of the head. That way, the ball has a shorter distance to get out of the head when throwing, therefore, IMHO a better release point.

id just take that out and string the mesh with closed sidewalls since its soft mesh. ive had bad experiences with soft mesh and open sidewalls. also dont dye it, itll just make it weaker.

All you have to do is not skip all those rows of mesh with your runners.
