I've said Syracuse will win the whole season long, and they only won against Hobart (barely), so I'm saying G'Town 13 'Cuse 8. Hopefully they'll surprise me, but its not gonna be easy.

GTown should take it, they're much more balanced, especially at the D end, and syracuses infamous offense has not been all they were hyped up to be, GTown will shut them down pretty well and have no trouble scoring especially from midfield. This should also be Trevor Casey's first big game from midfield.

I agree. The only thing you left out was Syracuse's weakness in the net. That's why I think there is the possibility for the Hoyas to lead by a minimum of 5. As for Cuse's offense, I think a bit more highly of them, and they played extremely well against UVA (for the portions of the game that Cuse had their heads screwed on straight for), but I put more stock and faith in the Gtwon defense. This will be another important establishing game for both teams, Cuse doesn't want to start out the season with more L's than W's, and Gtown is out to bolster thier status as team to beat.

I'm a big fan of both teams, but my tilt goes towards the Hoyas in this one.

cuse's offense has a lot of individual talent, but they have trouble working as a team. if they've been meshing well in practice this past week, their free-wheeling run n' gun offense should be fun to watch and should be able to keep up a quick tempo that contrasts sharply with gtown's slower, physical d.

I pray that we get a win today. Defense needs to slide quicker and react off ball ------- d-middie.... This might help Peter in goal...... But look at the talent on offense Perrit, Hardy, Brooks,LEVEILLE,Rommel,Bartig,Nims, Van s, Niewier, Mac Donald, get back to run and gun and for 60 mins of it. Bummer... I couldn't find it on TV. I thought it was only playing in the CNY area though, so I didn't look too hard. I now see the mlax game on some random channel though, so I guess I'll be watching that until practice.

This is the SU I've been waiting for. Jerome is dominating on face offs, and it seems every time 'Cuse possesses the ball they score. The only downside so far is that first pass after the face off is won, as they've already thrown 2 away for nothing.

Typical G-town. They've had 2 outstanding recruiting classes in a row and they're still struggling against top tier teams. Urich had a system that worked at the DIII level (Hobart), but he hasn't done squat in D1. Thankfully G-town has a good b-ball program......
