I just got back from the Mercyhurst #3 vs. LeMoyne # 1 lacrosse game and let me tell you... it was one of the best lacrosse games i have seen in a long time.
Mercyhurst was down by 3 with about 2 minutes left on the clock
A Mercyhurst attackman was slashed and then went on to score so LeMoyne was man down on defense and Mercyhurst took the advantage and scored again.
With only 10 seconds on the clock a LeMoyne attackman dropped the ball in the offensive zone and a Mercyhurst defenseman lobbed it over midfield to a midfielder who dumped it off to attackman for a goal with 8.4 seconds on the clock.
Mercyhurst and Lemoyne tied 7-7 at the end of the game which threw them into overtime.
Mercyhurst lost the faceoff and got it into their zone when a penalty was called and a Lemoyne timeout was called. Lemoyne then just rushed down and the Mercyhurst defense collapsed under pressure when Lemoynes best attackmen dumps an easy goal past the goalie.
