I play goalie and there are times where I get hit in the thighs. I'm not going to lie, it hurts and it's a pain the next day. I saw my friend wear compression shorts and they have a sort of padding on them , maybe not even 1/4 inch thick and he said it was baseball slider shorts. I was going to get new shorts, but Im not sure what to get, my friend also recommended soccer compression shorts. I am not getting the stupid warrior padded pants, they are just retarded (too bulky, why would anyone play in them?) Anyone know what kind that I could get that would provide some protection to my thighs? Doesn't have to be like 2 inch thick armor, but something that would take out some of the sting. Keep in mind I need it to be a cup holding compression shorts.

I got a pair and have been using them this season. They don't feel any different than regular compression shorts mobility-wise, fit under my hockey cup (Brian's Pro Goaler) exactly as regular comp. shorts, and no one can tell the difference. Now, I haven't taken any right on the front of the thigh yet, but I imagine they should deaden the impact somewhat. Anyway given that they cost ~$35-50, buying them is a no-brainer.

I have these nike football compression shorts that are doubled thick on the front and back. Takes away the sting from mis aimed shots, which I have taken a few of. No restriction what so ever.

Try the warrior mpg, pads are light and they take off the full sting off of a 100 MPG shot

I have seen these from 39.99 to 49.99. The are completely hidden by your shorts so no one knows

Hello...those are the shorts I've been talking about, and the ones I linked to in my post. Did you follow the link I posted? You can get them for less at Shoreline Medical Supply.

And no, you can't put a cup in them, but you can wear one over or under them. I wear a hockey cup over mine.

mcdavids are great. i use them for hockey. ive tried them once for lax, but i still felt a similar level of pain as i would without them, so i just tough it out...im better for it. but dont get me wrong, the mcdavids are still great. their impact shirts are great, so their thighs should probably be the same.

O well, I was just looking for some better compression shorts since my old ones are ripped up. Ill just go with the good ol white compression shorts.
