This is my third mesh stringing. I think i'm getting better at it :)

This my mate's stick. He plays on the same team as me. He ordered it a week ago and got it today, so gave it to me to string.

It's Jima hard mesh, which i softened slightly with shampoo and conditioner (a first for me, want to see if it works). The head is brand new, came unstrung. Well, you can see from the pics i guess. I cut all of the strings, except the shooters, as i want him to be able to mess around with them if he needs to, so i tied them "whole" to the sidewall, hence the big messy knot.

And he got me these for my 18th birthday, they came in the same order :D
Because it was such an awesome present, i did the stringing for free.

Anyway, as i say, C&C appreciated.

Cheers. All of my pockets are low or mid/low, as i play D and find it's the best place for it. This guy plays attack mostly, so if he finds it too whippy or low, i'll move it up for him.

Man, your stringing skills have improved quicker than anyone I know. Looks flawless. I'm sure your "mate", as you Englishmen say, will be happy.

Stringing looks nice, especially for a third.

I always do the same thing with my shooters, I don't cut them so I can still play around with them. He will like that head too, it's nice.

I'll look forward to seeing a pita too!

Yeah, when i got my first Jima order in, i didn't cut any strings, i wound them around the sidewalls, the throat, you name it. As i only had what i got in my 2 kits, i didn't want to muck them up. Now that i have an order on it's way and some string from other sticks, i feel a little more confident with cutting them off. The shooters are completely personal preference though, and he may want to change the setup completely (before, he had this quite uncontrollable factory stringing of 2 us and a straight, with no rows of mesh inbetween).

He was trying to decide between an Evo Pro and an Evo 2.0. His last head (an AV8) broke, and our coach has lost the receipt, so he thought a nicer head was in order :chuckle: . Our coach thought that the 2.0 would probably be better for someone who has only been playing 8 months, so he went for that. Having mucked around with it a bit myself while stringing it, it seems like a fantastic head to me.

Anyway, thanks for the responses guys :)
