that didnt make too much sense. are you trying to make a pocket pounder with that shaft? if so, i dont really suggest it and i would suggest following the tutorial in the tutorial list.

Use a drill or something similar to make the hole.

This is how I translated it:
All right I took my sisters old shaft, from 1990, and cut it
However, I need a way to drill a hole and/or cut the ball so I can make a pocket pounder, any advice?
Note: I have no extra money

OK basically what I did when I made the home-made pocket pounder was I traced the outline of the shaft on the ball and cut slightly inside the black line which is now on the ball.

So now yuo have some slits in the ball, big deal, right? So now you need some way to SAFELY digout/remove some surface rubber from the ball. Personally, I used a knife and a screwdriver to chip away, if you will, inside the slits. However, I made the slits very deep, and you need not remove much from the surface of the ball.

Now, you need to jam the shaft into the ball. This step is very compicated, and it is hard to make it stay and be 'wedged' in there. You may need to make some more cuts and dig out some more rubber.

After the shaft is fit snugly into the ball, you remove it, yes, take it out. You then need something like an epoxy(sp) or a very strong, adhesive glue. Pour some of whatever you have in the now cut hole in the ball and again, jam the shaft snugly into the hole. Whipe off any excess glue and set it with tape or something. It woudl also be advisable to pour some of the same glue down the oppsite end of the shaft so it will be internally connected too.

Hope this is what you wanted, but after this just let it dry and you are good.

i have another easy way..
You take an old screwdriver that you dont use...
Heat up the tip of it.. and also heat up the ball where you will stick the screwdriver.
now with a mit of some sort(baseball mit?) put the ball in the mit so you dont stab yourself. then stick the hot screwdriver in the ball. It should go in pretty easy depending on how long you heat it..let it cool and there you go

Heating the tip takes to long to get it hot enough to cut through the ball, just take a screw, screw it into the ball, then un-screw it, insert and old screw driver into hole and waalaa you have a pocket pounder in under a min..

or you could take an ice pick(i think that is what it is called, it has the handle of a screwdriver, but a pointy tip instead of a flathead or philips) and stick it into the ball, it takes about two seconds, and you can easily remove it for any reason.

just heat the screwdriver if your going to do that becasue if you heat the ball it will smell like burned rubber and really bad and char the ball

This is the way i made mine and it works good. So lax players finally found a good use for a baseball mit
