i know people will hate on me for making like the "1000th thread" on this subject but i made this to be DEFINITIVE and to bury the hatchet(if u have lost me go back to 6th grade)

this is about 6d mesh. i want anyone and everyone who has ever used it to help me out and tell me what you think about it exactly. not what everyone else says like "oh it holds good" or this and that. tell me what you think it is like exactly assuming u have used it. the reason i am doing this is because there is alot of talk on 6d these days and it might as well end here for good. plus i just got an bn e3 and i can string it with either hard, 6d, or canadien. basically i want to know what is special and unique about 6d if anything at all. maybe there is nothing special about it. does it have any characteristics significantly different from other meshs? does it specialize in a characteristic? does it do anything at all?
thank you for all of those who put up with this madness and sorry if anyone is annoyed or offended

Here's the dealio: As the diamonds get bigger, so does the hold, and the whip. So, by using six diamond, you will be gaining hold and whip (which may or may not be a good thing), but will be sacraficing some accuracy and quickness in release.

There's my two cents. Hope that helps you clear things up. Personally, I would just go with hard mesh.

6 Diamond Mesh, like any of the other larger diamond mesh types, does indeed offer more hold, but it is not in any way shape or fashion more susceptible to gaining whip; that is simply a myth. I have used 5-Diamond and 6-Diamond mesh for going on 5 years now and have never had either type become whippy on me.

Simply put, Hold and Whip are NOT synonymous with one another.

As for your predicament, this really is a preference thread in disguise and any information you are looking for can be found on the Forums with some searching. 6-Diamond mesh is very durable though and should last you a long time through all sorts of abuse. It offers great hold, but then again so could any pocket style that you make correctly.
