Man, there used to be some awesome shows on Nick: Doug, My brother and me, Pete and Pete, Double Dare, Are you afraid of the dark?, then there was that one where three people competed in like 3 compitions vs. each other like to climb that mountain thing. Any other old favorites?

They show most of the old school game shows and such on Nick "gas" now. My little brother watches them all the time. :laugh

The original All That! rocked. then they changed the cast and it became annoying and not funny at all. most of the new shows are not very good at all.

legends of the hidden temple was the sh*t. HAHAHA just remembered one, anyone remember the show that was like all puppets and it was like "welcome to weinerville" or something. It was the stupidest show but was pretty funny.

I got up at 5 in the morning when i was little and watched nick forever. They used to be so cool. I thought All That was genius, now when i see it I think, give a monkey a typewriter and he'll make better jokes! hidden temple or whatever (was that the one with the teams of two and each team had different colored shirts?) was sick, but my favorite cause i loved sports was the one where 3 kids competed in athletic stuff. They even had foreign kids, i was like "its the olympics!" man, i miss those shows.

Hahahah, as I see you've noticed Nick didn't always aim for statistical or reporting accuracy on their gameshows. This GAS network is frikkin awesome however, the show Nick Arcade where they play games from Turbografx 16 rocks, and the stuff they give away for prizes are hilarious. "You win a MC Hammer tape, a NES game, and the newly-invented Sony Discman!!!" I am seriously going to cry however when in 5 years either the GAS network is scrapped or they replace the late 80s-early 90s shows with the modern bs. I'm not a huge fan of the hidden temple show, that Omec or whoever the mechanical mouth is too much of a fag for my taste. Hehe. That was the beginning of the downfall of Nick IMHO, but it is still entertaining. Long live W-W-W-W-W Wild and Crazy Kids.

pete and pete= greatness and i loved nick arcade im mad i dont get digi cable to get GAS bc i really would watch it all day u all forgot one important cartoon show on nick...and that show is Ahh Real Monsters...it wasnt great but i was happy i knew it and u all didnt say it....id have to say Wonder Years was one of my favorite shows even though it wasnt on nick...that or Boy Meets World TOPANGA MMMM MMMM MMM break me off some of that

Actually, I'd say Rugrats the show was very much the downfall of Nickelodeon :P

no rugrats the show was great.... then the movie came, then dill became a central character, then nickelodeon became focused on rugrats and making movies out of their shows, rugrats go to paris etc. etc. wild thornberry's the movie, and nobody cares anymore. my theory and i'm sticking to it.

The whole downfall was when they realized "hey, animated crap works! Just look at rugrats!" they used to have unique stuff, and rugrats was just one of many shows that were sorta odd and cool. Then they made all these animated pieces of crap that stuck around for 2 years then got cancelled. Now rugrats is just like all the other shows, they threw it into oblivion! They should bring back the gameshows and stuff for a bit, just to see how they do at least

you knew it got bad when everything changed on the rugrats. when tommy got a little brother and when (this is the killer).....CHUCKIE GOT A MOM! ok im sorry for sounding insensitive here but you just dont change something great like the rugrats by adding dum filler characters that ruin the show. chuckie getting a mom was just against something that i understood for the rugrats. it just didnt feel right. i dunno why i was thinking this about a cartoon either. but yea all in all i just dont think he should have gotten a mom. i know that sounds really mean but it was just one of those things you thought would always stay the same.
