ya, so i went to lax unlimited on sunday, for those of you who dont live in the east its one of the bigger lax stores. so anyway, my stick was broken at a preseason team camp, and the only other stick i had that was strung was an old old abyss. i took an eclipse to lax unlimited and they strung it for me that day, and when i picked it up, it was literally a players pocket in a goalie stick. should i flat out go back and return it and try and say that i tried to play with it and the pocket is still crappy, or do i just suck it up. by the way, this thing is literally screwed up beyond repair, iv tried everything and it still hasnt changed.

take it back. you gave it to them so they can give you a good pocket because they are SUPPOSED to be professional stringers. if they dont give you a good pocket, return it and tell them they need to give you a pocket you can throw with or give you a refund.

I had that problem before I started stringing my own sticks. Call them up and say the pocket isnt what you were expecting, they will either fix it up for you, or possibly give you a refund, but its doubtful.

Your best bet is to learn how to string yourself, that way when problems like this happen, you will know how to fix them.

i always string my sticks, except i was feeling a tad lazy because we had a four hour preseason camp and had 545 am practice in the morning. i didnt feel like stringing anything..........im sorry i didnt too.

my friends goalie pocket is just like that. its really shallow and isnt that well done. thats in his abyss. its funny because i got my first nemmy strung by them and it turned out with a great 2.5 ball pocket that threw perfectly. my friends pocket throws horribly, its only like a ball deep.

ya, i think it just matters who strings it there, like my friend works there and i asked him to get the best guy there to do it and he said no problem, but that still turned out to be bad. im not pissed at him, but its like if im gonna pay you 30 dollars to string something, dont mess it up. and its fifteen to actually string it but fifteen for the mesh

I hate the way LU strings goalie sticks, they do such a bad job. Ive had problems with them in the pst, now i just dont get it done there.
