OK, there are countless threads about whether you can cut the palms out of your gloves, and the answer is a pretty clear 'no'.
However, I was recently looking through 'Lacrosse Talk' (which is the English Lacrosse Association's magazine, for those not in England) and it had a review of the World Champs in 2006. There's a photo of Gary Gait celebrating a goal by one of his teammates (prematurely, since it was ruled to be a crease infringement). Gait is holding his crosse in one hand and the other is raised in celebration. He appears to have no palm to his glove. The fingers are half covered (to the central knuckle) then there's no palm, just a strap running from the thumb across the heel of the hand. The palm is totally bare. How is that?
I've looked for a copy of the photo online but can't find it. Any ideas how he could be wearing such a glove?
