what is the best way to remove the shaft paint?

I remember seeing a post a while back about someone (kryptic i think?) who used his dad's sandblaster to take all the paint off an old f-15. It looked like it worked just fine.
If you can't get your hands on that then just sand it with a really really fine grit sandpaper i guess.

has anyone tried it on one of the newer stx shafts, their labels are a little different, i have a zirconium and i hate the label

I hope you mean nail polish remover. That is unless you want to give your shaft a nice coat of pink nail polish.

you can send it out and get it acid dipped. It's fairly costly though.

just get it sandblasted...my dad did it to one of my sticks, it makes it look like kinda like titanium.

i used a dremmel with a sort of steel wool buffing bit and that took the green paint off of an f15
