Breaking your shafts

I was wondering what you think when you break a shaft. Mainly because I dont use my own money and Ive broken only a few in like 6 years I get a certain sense of satisfactionthat youre working hard or that you checked hard or something. But I would imagine many of you are mad.. etc?

I am sad. I have a special bond with my stick and breaking a shaft is like losing a good pal. I keep the pieces tho.

well i have yet to break a stick but im pretty sure that even tho i buy my own id be pretty thrilled to break one cause its pretty sweet when it happens but id hang the peices on my wall haha... wall of fame

Rgae, just straight up rage that my shaft got broken. And if I have been using it for a while, i will feel kinda sad.

I feel a little satisfied like you said like i was playing hard or something. but i also feel a little sad because i love my stick and i dont want him to die.

i have broken like 6 heads and 2 shafts, and i hang the pieces on my wall. all the heads are hung upside down. my cyber literally exploded into 9 pieces and its like a mangled red and black mess from the wall, all held together by the mesh.

Breaking shafts, im cool with. Just means you really messed someone up.

Breaking heads, I hate. mostly because all shafts ae the same, but string jobs and pinches will vary between heads.

Really don't like breaking anything. I don't pay for all of my stuff but in a year i've broken 3 shafts (2 wonderboys, 1 AL6000 Pro) and i can't say i enjoy using my backups. I like to have the gear i use in the game at all times. I dont deal well with change so if i have to change my stuff it doesnt work out well.

ive yet to break any of my shafts probably because i use a STX Ti and a woodie?? but if it was something cheap id probly get over it just like breaking heads

I felt good cuz it meant i was agressive, sad cuz i was bonded with that shaft, and pissed at the guy who broke it.

I've never broken a shaft.. but I imagine it would be like:

1.) I break the shaft - satisfied.
2.) Somebody else breaks the shaft on an unnecessarily hard check - pissed.

defiantly. i was playing a game of box, picked up the ball in my own corner, and booked it to the other end. a guy about half my size tried hitting my with a warrior diamond, and i ran right through it. split the shaft right in half. but of course, i have the thickest bicep pads on my team. :P

yeah if i broke my shaft i would be super pissed...the satisfactory feeling would come later afteri got a new one and got to tell my story. at the beggining when it breaks i wuld swear alot...then after a lil while and i got a new one i would be kinda ok with it knowing i messed someone up.

I broke my shaft wrap checking someone when i played attack, and I was annoyed cause it was my favorite shaft, and I was the one who did the check. :bawling:

i used to get mad back in hs when i was breaking a shaft a game. but harrow was really good about replacing and upgrading me. i still say they are #1 in customer service

ive broken 1 of my own shafts and 3 of other people's.I broke my harrow box on a guys arm.I broke a guys i-beam in half on a groundball,same guys back-up snapped with a crosscheck to my shoulder.And another guys triax ti broke when i slashed him and it bent at like a 75 degree angle.

and ive broken like 3 heads(1 variable,1 answer,1 intrepid)
