i have both pairs of gloves and I would have to go with ipros.

ipros have are flexible and they have a good palm. They also have good protection but I defts have better protection. They both have cuffs but I cut the cuff off the ipros because it really doesn't do much. If you play defense I would say defts. If you play middie or attack get ipros.

Personal prefrence, iPros all the way, no doubt. Personal prefrence aside, the defts in my experience have very little durrability, something the iPros have plenty of. Also unless your talking about the newer defts, the lining on the inside absorbs sweat and rain water like a sponge, and gets uncomfortable and smells something awful. The iPros have the little pads on the sides, which look really small and way too soft to make a difference, they actually make a big difference. And also there is a pad in-between the index finger and thumb and when your hands are on your stick, there is no gap in the pads. Kinda hard to explain, but trust me, tons of protection on these. The only thing about the defts that i like more than the Ipros is the cuff. For the defts its lose on the outside tight on the inside, which eliminates any possability of the cuff flapping around but at the same time makes it very flexible. The Ipro cuff is the other way around, lose on the inside tight on the outside, but is still very flexible and i find it to be more protective than the defts.
