Shoulder Pad help

I currently have Stx Shogun liners, which are great, but my dad doesn't think they have enough protection for the chest/heart. They come with a removable air-pad type thing that helps somewhat but feels very awkward and uncomfy. I'm looking for a pad similar to this, a liner, but with more protection for the chest. Anyone have any imput?

the liner is made to have minimal protection and be very comfortable and moveable so i dont think your gonna fine a liner with much more protection.

Buy the regular Shoguns and just cut off the big shoulder pad things. Really good chest protection.
