I have this http://www.lax.com/shop/item.phtml?page=product_6533_front.phtml
chest protector, only in the older version before they added the neon green and hiked the price up 12 bucks. I'm a fairly tall kid at 5'7. I have this in a large. When I where this while standing just straight up regular,it is slightly above my bellybutton. I think thats crazy. Anyone else have this problem with this chest protector. Even though my seasons almost over, I'm thinking of buying a new one for summer teams and practice. Does anyone know where I can buy a fairly cheap CP?

are you mad that it's short?
or do you think it's too long.
i have the exact same one you're talking about, before the green designs and stuff. and it's about 2 inches above my belly button. and i think it's way too big. the shoulders are annoying, and just bothers me.

Its way out of proportion. The shoulders are too big, so when I wear it normally, it hangs down and theres a big gap between the bottom of my throat guard and the begining of the CP thats about three inches big. So I had to tape the back up so it rides higher on me, and now the part thats suspossed to cover my collarbone is on the back of my shoulder.
PS take all the shoulder caps off if you havent all ready, you never get hit in the shoulder and it helps your arms move so much better.

yeah i took off every attachment it came with and it's till way to big.
i think i'm going to take a hammer to those big shoulder caps and break them off.
maybe make it smaller or something.

I just bought a Brine Eraser because I was having this problem with a different cp and the eraser is perfect. It covers your collar bones, but isn't too wide in the shoulders. It also goes low enough and wraps around the sides a little bit. I love it. I am also 5' 7 and it covers enough.

our goalie uses the old warrior revolution air
it says ohio state and looks like something a catcher would wear
minimal padding , but he loves it that way

the stx chopper is really nice, just looks funny under your pads because that top pad sticks out
