I just ordered a gaurdian o a contender a pretty sick combo and i really want to dye the head. I have never dyed one and just am wondering if any one with expierence can help me, or if any one has cool idias im thinking of using black and red to match the shaft and my teams colors.

PS can u dye text and numbers onto a head.

you can dye text and numbers, just use stickers,

and the hot glue effect is always nice as well as a fade

if need anymore ideas, have questions, or want to see some of my dyes just PM me

Laxnation doesn't have any goalie-specific articles, but here's a list of different dye options and I'm pretty sure they are explained well for beginners.

does dying a head weaken it?

alot of people say it does because its in the hot water but if it does weaken it then the last thing you want to do is weaken a guardian.

I've noticed a little increased flexibility after I dye my heads, but nothing that would significantly decrease their strength.

So you should be fine.

Just remember that it does void the warranty.

i have dyed goalie heads before. and when ever i dye them they seem to last longer like without cracking or braking. but it does get a little flexiable.

its not realy dementing the head in that sense. like a/m heads when you dye them, they get a bit more flexible. so when you might go down for a clamp or something, youll have a lot more flex in your stick. my dyed nemesis has a bit more flex then my white one, and it shows. the head warped much sooner and is also twisting a bit, so the dyeing and exposure to the hot water does have an affect; subtle or a lot.
