Hey guys, I wanna try LSM this year for lax, and I'm just wondering, how much running should I do for training to get my endurance up?
Anything can help, thanks

as much as you can, and then some
work on endurance and explosive speed.... that should keep you on the field and not make you a liability

Run a lot of sprints. (Sprint 800 yds, 400 yds, 100 yds, 40 yds, etc.)

One of the best drills we do here at Army is called Conditioning Sprints (i.e. conditioning 50's).
Start on the goal line...sprint 50 yards as fast as possible, turn at the line and jog approximately half way back, then walk fast to the starting line in 30 seconds total! Repeat every 30 seconds. During our preseason training, we would get up to 20-25 of these sprints after a basic warm-up and speed and agility drills. That is why we are one of the most conditioned teams in the nation...

well, you're also all in the army which requires a high degree of physical fitness.
That is true but training for the Army is geared toward very slow aerobic training...which actually hurts our lacrosse guys. There is no transfer from aerobic training to high intensity anerobic speed training. It is a battle to keep up their explosive power and speed.
