LI vs Balt. game was cancelled (thats right not postponed, cancelled). This causes so many problems in so many ways.
-Playoffs
-Player Stats
-Fans
-MLL's Money
Oh:cry this is not good.

Oh:cry this is not good. how does this have anything to do with the MLL's money? There was a 2 ours lightning delay and the feild was in real bad shape.

it dose not help the MLL's money because I'm sure its not cheap to rent out a stadium and get all there faculty to wait around for two hours. it also leaves a bad taste in the mouth of some of the fans.

yikes cancelling a game is definatly bad news, especially when its the two best teams in the league

but we all got to hang out and talk to the players so it wasn't that bad...

Thats cool, at the USA tryouts we got to go on the field and hang out with all the players, there all realy nice guys.

What could they do...they woulda had to reschedule it for Monday or tuesday and there is no gaurantee they could fit it in with the teams/facilities/etc...They couldn't play wed or thursday...not enough time before Friday's playoff game...It was better to cacel it since the teams were gonna be 1 and 2 seeds anyway...If they postponed it to a later day then either of the teams lost there would then be controversey as to not getting enough rest/practice/etc...the league chose the lesser of the two evils

The MLL won't lose money for it. The fans all paid for the tickets, and get to use them at another game. And it was just 1 game. We all knew L.I. will face Baltimore again in the championship anyway.

Lightining and 22 guys running around with metal sticks in there hands, Plus 2 6x6 sets of iron pipes. Sounds like a really wicked way to Pinch a head to me.
I;m sure the MLL would have definately made the sports page if they played that day...Lightining Strikes Professional Lacrosse Game, 2 players dead, Many fans hospitalized

johnny, i don't know what type of lacrosse you're playing...but there's only 20 players supposed to be on the field. ;)
