my first goalie string job

this is my first try at stringing goalie sticks i used 12d in an eclipse and im guessing the channel gets tighter as it breaks in as i've noticed as i pound it it gets tighter and C+C welcome

It looks amazing. That is a great channel. Can you tell me how to do channel? I cannot seem to get one going on 14D.

Does it have any whip?
I don't know how tight the top is, but maybe you should move the mesh up a couple rows so that it is on the inside of the scoop. This is to make sure when you throw it, you don't get all lip.

just throwing against the couch it feels whipless and im using 12d not 14d i will probably put a tight nylon on the top at a later point in time

i was gonna mention that. it looks great, so stop bothering me on aim about it :chuckle: . still, thats a great for a first timer...solid channel, solid depth.

looks solid. i personally would interlock a few more diamonds down because that will break in and get nice and whippy for you. good first effort.

haha ok ehs i toook me a while to figure it out but i strung the pocket for our teams goalie so as it breaks in if he mentions that it is getting to whippy for him ill fix it for him

Thats sick for a first time. I can string anything and everything on a regular stick, but I suck when it comes to goalie stringing. How'd you get that channel/pocket like that?
