You need to tell us what position you are playing, how much you way now, what your goals are etc... Be reasonable, you can't expect to gain 50 pounds of muscle before next year especially if you are just coming into highschool. Post this stuff and I will try to help you.

lift everyday after school or whenever and make a whey protein shake, or making chocolate milk is good too, i heard that from some wrestler but i just go with the protein shake

and eat alot of eggs and meat, anything with protein

I assume you run because you are a wr, keep that up. I would intake a lot more protein right after you lift weights. Keep the reps low and the weight heigh. Read the other threads about this too, if you have any more questions pm me.

Have a clean diet. Limit the amount of junk foods you take in. Hit the wieghts 2-3 times a week. Learn proper form before hand. If you use improper form, you can screw up your growth. You do not want to train every day. You will overtrain cause more trouble then good.

I used protein powder i got from the costco and you take 2 scoops three times a day and then you lift a lot and you should gain a lot of muscle mass if you dont work out with it it will turn to fat so be careful.

You failed to mention your 5 lb burrito every morning... That is a contributing factor for sure.

I would try to eat every 3-4 hours or so. Never be hungry! Energy bars and shakes are good if you can't get quality food. Always have a carbohyrate and protein source at each meal. Of course none of this will be quality weight if you don't lift at least 3 times per week. Train the entire body...don't be a meathead and just do bench and curls like most high school athletes. Train the legs (i.e. leg press, single leg squats, regular squats, lunges, etc...).

I know this thread is getting old but make sure you don't eat JUST protein. That's basically the atkins, try and get a ton of carbs also so you can bulk up and cut it off before the season starts. That's what I would do anyhow.

For every pound you weigh put that many grams of proteinin your diet, shakes are cheap at walgreens, also eat pasta for energy from the carbs, hit the wieghts monday wednsday and friday. Run till you cant
