i got size smalls (7.5-8.5) because i wear a 8.5 in shoes and they fit me but the straps are tight. now most flipflops i've brought stretch out so they fit me perfectly and aren't loose. However, i wore these for afew days now and they haven't stretched much. do rainbow straps stretch?

enough - mine fit perfectly when i got them; try putting them in some hot water and wearing them, that should work fine

You have to wear them in a little they will be comfy after you have worn them like a week (Don't remember exactly how long it took to wear mine in but a week sounds about right). Your feet will leave like an imprint in the sandals after a while so the straps shouldn't be tight anymore after you have walked in them a bit.

Yea rainbows arent comfortable at first. My straps are always tight with a new pair. You just got to wear them a lot.

Also, from above, getting them wet and wearing them might help stretch them out—and no it wont ruin them.

Exactly what happened to mine. The straps dont actually loosen at all. What happens is once you start wearing them, the soles start forming to the bottom of your feet and your feet gradually "sink" into them, thus making the straps seem looser. So yes, at first its really tight and uncomfortable, but after you wear them a lot, theyre insanely comfy.

also try putting them in the oven and letting them heat up and walk around in them. It might hurt for a few seconds but its a quick way to soften up the leather.

Honestly, just suck it up and wear them for a week. They break in quickly if you just wear them. If you really need to, put some bandaids on your feet where the straps are.

i wasn't complaining. i just didn't know if they'd actually stretch considering they didn't for the first few days. they've broken in quite a bit in the last few days so thanks for the help guys

Oh I wasn't making fun of you or saying you were complaining, I just, by habit, have a condescending tone when I type stuff.
