This IQ test has little correlation to an actual Stanford-Binet test, so don't feel special if you get something high. On a real IQ scale (not that these even relate precisely to ones intelligence) these numbers mean squat.

Well, if you hadn't said it, I would have.

50% of the population have an IQ between 89 and 111.
80% have an IQ between 80 and 120, with 10% less than 80 and 10% greater than 120
Only 2% of the population have an IQ of 132 or greater.



That being said, I realize this is just for fun. I got a 139. Darn im good.

I just took it and got a 120, I realized I took it before and I got a 127 before, like a year ago. I took a real one at school like a few years ago and got a 125.

I took some type of IQ test when I was in first grade and got into the 'gifted program' at my school in the first possible year, which is open to those with an IQ of 130 or higher. My parents won't tell me what 'my number' actually is, and I don't really care - IQ is subjective and ambiguous. Intelligence cannot be measured by a number.

I think I tested it once, and even if you get them all correct, based on your age and edu level there is a max score you can get. So basically, it is has a inherent age biased.

Age is a factor - an intelligence quotient is defined as mental age divided by chronological age multiplied by one hundred. So a 12 year old with the mental age of a 15 year old would have the IQ of 125. The test doesn't quite work with adults. I'm not a big fan of IQ to say the least.

just took it and got a 142, i was very impressed, i was shooting for about 125. but its cool, i dont really care though, but it said that i am a visual mathematician, which is very true, so i dont really know what to think about this.

Thank you. There are many things that contribute to intelligence, and typically they are supposed to reflect the POTENTIAL for learning, but in actuality, they reflect more of learned knowledge, and are therefore inherently flawed.

A high IQ and $3 will get you a cup of coffee, but with no options. Every school or workplace in this country has someone with a high IQ who has purposely been placed in a remote cubicle or room all by himself where he can't annoy or alarm the others.

As others have said, your EQ or EI, emotional intelligence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_intelligence), is far more important in determining how well you will do in life. There are several different kinds of intelligence.

I find it hard to imagine that I would want to hang around with someone who boasted of being in MENSA. I mean, I don't even own any Star Trek uniforms.
