At a game the other day out goalie saved a shot and the ball got cough in the side of his stick, the plastic part. He got called for illegal procedure and that didn't sound right to me. Tell me did the ref call the right thing or should we have gotten the ball??
Thanx

Must of had some hella open sidewalls on that stick, I dont think any heads have sidewalls big enough for the ball to be lodged in.

The Matrix is an A/M head, yo...
You mean Nemesis? They have sidewalls similar to the Matrix. Ive had at least 3 of them, I couldnt fathom the ball getting stuck there.

i could picture that in my head; but endless said it, realistically, i couldn't see that happening, the ball would have to be going ridiculously fast and the sidewall would actually have to be facing the shot - when you say stuck in the head, do you actually mean stuck in the strining? if that's so, what he did sounds perfectly legit

I'm pretty sure that what he means is that the ball got stuck IN the plastic of the nemesis (or whatever head, but the nemesis is the only one that would have this ability, I think). Imagine shooting a lacrosse ball at a chain-link fence and the ball getting stuck in the fence, but instead of the metal diamonds, he means the side of the stick.
Whoever started the thread... am I even close?

Yes, but the sidewall of a Nemesis is considerably smaller than the openings of a chain link fence.

Which is why there is such amazement and confusion.

There is no way in hell that a ball could fit in the sidewall of a nemmy. It would have broken or something.
