Well I've been gone since, lacrosse season ended because football started up, and I was super busy. Well I have that time inbetween hockey and lacrosse, and with now only like a week or 2 until lax. So I decided to see if anyone remembered the unknown head I pinched last year. We call it the Shotgun and it's my new box baby.
And it may be a bit un-manly, but don't hurt it's feelings, it's confused and trying out new things. (Sorry, bad pics)
Yes it is a bag, illegal for field. Also the pinch is roughly 4.7 across.

But only 1 pic is getting uploaded for some reason, so you just get a taste for now.
How was pinching the shotgun, I'm thinking about pinching mine, good job by the way.

The pinch was fine. Very easy to do, used the boiling method.
The scoop is also on of the nicest I've ever used yet, it kind of jsut wraps around the ball and pics it up effortlessly. But I've noticed some lip even with a top nylon.

That thing is sick man..nice job..1 question though. why are box heads so pinched so much?

The pinch is awesome, but the bottom string seems weird.

brett, that thing is pretty sexy.you should have let me throw a sick dye on it though.and not field legal?is there anything NOT legal in canada?but seriously though, solid stringing.you could fix up the bottom string(its pretty loose).

The bottom string is weird because I had to drill the holes for it, it had no bottom string holes. The pinch in box is for more control, better accuracy, and to make your pocket deeper.
sw19, I like it loose, just like my women. You'll get to see this badboy in action next weekend. And if I don't like how it shoots in game (was fine in wallball, but that was with no cranks etc), I can just switch to my other baby, my PP.

Nice pinch, similar to a prepinched box Heat. Depending on how it throws I'd probably pinch the throat a bit.

Yea, about a ball and a quarter deep the pic I have of it doesn't do it justice either because it's barely been worked in.
And to get rid of the lip you can use the triangle topstring that works well.

I've used the triangle top string before, I think it's just how the scoop of the stick is. If it persists (I restrung it today, trying to make everything tighter), I'll use my Proton Power for a bit until I buy another begginer head and pinch it.
