never heard of weighted balls... if you want something that will improve your shot speed for for a warrior training shaft (weighted shaft)

Nice, so its 3x the weight of a regular ball so probably about 16oz right?

i never understood paying so much money for a weighted shaft when you can just fill yours with sand.
that's what i've been doing, and it's been great.

thats the best thing a noob has said in forever (no offense).... get some sand or bbs and fill an aluminum shaft....it will save you 20-25 easily, and you can make it even heavier than the warrior shaft

The screw ball is suppose to have funny trajectory to improve eye-hands coordination. Like trying to catch a knuckle ball. I use it in box lacrosse in loose ball drills because it bounces quite oddly and force the player to have quick feet and hands reaction.

I went out and threw around with the weighted ball last night and blew a side string. I have to admit that the string already was a little frayed from four years of use, but it made me start thinking about that very thing.
Are the balls designed for playing catch or just shooting?

Comlax is sick. I have a shop 10 minutes down the road from me. They carry jima stringing materials, weighted shafts and balls - basically anything youd ever need.
I was just out in bedford last saturday (SO LOST) with a few of my buddies trying to make it to harvard stadium for the cannons game. Were going for attempt number 2 this saturday.
