im also 13 and righty i get about 64 ish and lefty i get like 60 ish
i would say practice all the time, and get your entire body into the run and jump shots.
whenever i shoot i practice these alot.
try practicing a spit dodge then running and get a good shot before the slide would come in a game.
biggest thing tho, get your whole body into it and come over hand

Make sure when your on the run to plant with the same side foot
Righty=Right Foot

Lefty=Left Foot.

This gets more power and torque on the shot.

And shoot offside low.

Make sure to turn your hips, get your hands away from your body, and flick your wrist on the shot. These three things are incredibly important when shooting, and help with shot speed tremendously.

If you really want to score a pretty goal, shoot offside high, right about where the goalie's head is. At your age, their first instinct is usually to duck ( as most people do when things are flying close to their head.) That'll create a really pretty goal.

get your hands away from your body and put your chin by your shoulder...i read thats what the uva players are taught to do when shooting on the run

try side arm shots for the lower corners to middle of the side of the net

ive found the best thing to do is shoot a 3/4 shot...so half way between an overhand shot and a side-arm shot..

keep it high and always if you going to one side finish low opposite post its a great spot and will get you alot of goals

all these are realy good tips and ive gone by most of them except taking side arm shots(except when goin for a quick cut from behind the goal, or for taking bounce shots) but to get these all down what I did was take them all step by step and find the right order you need to put all these into.

For any type of shoting its very important to have a good wrist shake or flick before you shot. If you do this right then you can bring your stick back further and get more torque on the ball also if you do the shake right the ball will be in the same spot in your stick every time giving you a more consistant shot.

this is how pros are able to still shot very fast even when they are off balance or have there body momentum going in the other direction.

when shooting on the run, it's important to kick out your lead leg to help with your body rotation... if you are running righty, kick out your right leg as you are going through your normal shooting motion, and do the opposite if you are running lefty..

it is important to keep your shaft a little higher than shoulder level, and pull down with your bottom hand no matter where on the goal you are trying to hit..

you wouldnt want to plant with the same foot, you wouldnt be able to cork your body to get some power behind it

yeah, you would still plant with your opposite foot like you would when you are shooting from a stationary position. it's just that you're moving, so you plant your opposite foot, shoot and then swing your other leg out as you shoot to help you rotate your body and generate some velocity on that shot.

any specific drills focusing on the shooting on the run?

im thinking like setting up little targets in the low corners of the cage and try to hit em

for drills, i would suggest simply starting about 5 to 10 yards away from the goal, and about 5 to 10 yards to the left or right of the goal (depending on which hand you are using)... try running across the face of the goal about half speed, and concentrate on proper form... keep your arms up, and relatively close to your body, rotate your upper body away from the goal, and kick out your lead leg; as you kick out your lead leg (right foot if shooting righty, and left if shooting lefty), rotate your body through the forward shooting motion, aiming for the middle of the goal...

do about 10 or so of these to get the motion down, then try 5 or so at full speed trying to hit the middle of the goal...

the key here is to work on your form, and not worry about speed or accuracy at first... get comfortable with the motion, then add accuracy and speed to your shot later... (if you are in a game or practice, i would suggest aiming for the low or opposite lower portion of the goal about a foot off the ground, or try to bounce it around hip high)...

remember, this is the single most difficult fundamental lacrosse technique to teach and learn, so don't get discouraged...

good players are not born overnight, they might be better athletes than some, but they have to work their butts off to become good technical lax players....

planting your foot is misleading... you want to run through the shot... if you hesitate, plant your foot, or pull up to shoot, you will be an easy target for a back check... you must run through the shot, and carry your speed throughout the shooting motion well past the follow-through

oh yeah, that's what i meant. sorry about the misleading language.
