Hey just wondering how many of you guys use fireworks mx not photoshop? I dont have photoshop but I used to and now I have fireworks and its so awesome. My dad is a web designer and has done websites for various big companies and he uses fireworks as well. If you have fireworks can you please tell me how to get rid of a certain color in a graphic other than the fill tool.

Macromedia was bought by Adobe I thought? Guess they didn't discontinue some of the similar products.

Fireworks is primarily used to design for the web, whereas Photoshop is not. I just started trying to learn that whole Macromedia suite, so, unfortunately, I can't really help with the Fireworks question. But since you dad uses it, you should ask him and then post back here so I know too. Hah

i figured it out but its a little ifty and hard to get it just right, you have to use the magic wand tool and play with the tolerance level and then click where you want to outline (not sure on where to click but i think you click out what you want to outline) and make sure you change the edge to hard if you want it to look nice
