Fun math class?

Ok so before I moved down here to Florida I had the greatest math class ever and I actually had fun. The teacher was great and I used to make fun of him all the time and mess around. I also sat next to my best friend the whole time i was in there so needless to say there wasnt a whole lot of learning goin on but anyway I just was wondering if anybody has a math class like this where its just fun because its mostly goofing around.

Here are some examples:
One time I was tracing mac daddy's out of a lacrosse catalog onto patty paper we were supposed to be doing proofs with and then my teacher called on my to answer a question that was on the smart board, so I looked at the smart board and since this was like the fourth math class I hadnt been paying attention I had no clue what to do so i saw something that said GSP and i was like "You use the theorum of GSP and then find the perpindicular bisector of that line" and the teacher stared at me for like a minute and then said "GSP is geometers sketch pad, a computer program"

Another time he was going over some new things we would be learning about and he said centroid and to me it sounded like something out of star wars so naturally i started humming the star wars theme song because i wasnt really paying attention again and after like 10 mins of humming my friends gf sitting in front of me turnns around and starts yelling at me then the teacher got kinda mad so i started tapping the theme song.

I also wrote quotes on the whiteboard when the teacher wasnt looking (mostly dave chappelle)

And i drew a picture of the teacher when there was a mustache contest going on and i drew him with an old poncho a huge mustache and a sombraro and hung it up on the bulletin board when he wasnt looking.

So anybody have similar classes?

My geometry class is awesome. I have a few good friends in there, and some that i dont know so well...But, they are just entertaining/hilarious. And the teacher is awesome. She makes learning *gasp* fun. Shes not like 150 years old like most of the teachers...She's 23 or something.

my math class is pretty boring but last year i had an EPIC class. The teacher was our lax coach and all the good players were in the class (all my friends), so we goofed off all the time. We told jokes, he made fun of kids and played games on the smart board. He was pretty young like in his 20's and that was my favorite class ever, it needs to be experienced cause it's hard to explain.

This year my english class is ok. the teacher was my JV basketball coach last year so we're cool. There are 2 other guys in the class and about 15 girls. we were talking about feminism in literature and he said "It's the idea that women should be equal to men."
And i said "yeah i heard that joke before" and him and the 2 other guys crack up while the girls gave me dirty looks. the class is filled with other jokes and comments like that

Our geometry class is pretty sweet. Our teacher's in his 50's and he's been teaching for 30 years, so he knows how to teach, and he makes the class fun. I swear, some of the time it's like he's on anti-depressants. I have some pretty good friends in there, a few hot girls, and one of my friends and I are always makin fun of each other. He does that to everybody though, but it's a sweet class.

my math class is the worst class my teacher( female ) gets random PMSes and starts yelling and going crazy, then 5 min later shes all nice....Shes young and cute tho

My Calculus class is cool in that I have a bunch of friends and the teacher is nice and likes me, but also sucks because it's Calculus. Overall though I'd say it's cool.

my math class is pretty cool. my teacher is a pretty strong guy who always is telling jokes or just pulling pranks on kids. he also randomly will pull a wrestling move on kids sometimes.

my german teacher is pretty weird however. he dressed up as a clown for mardi gras for one example, and will randomly swear at the goth kids in our class for no reason some times

my math class is the best. My lax coach is my teacher so in the middle of class i ask about a play or sumthing and he gets totally off topic and we just talk about lax the rest of the period

but my global class is the best. My teacher (no joke) hates everybody in my class except me and my friend. me and my friend make fun of him and talk about the latest Jay-z cd with him. and one time my friend got punched in the face and my teacher couldnt stop laughing at him. it was so funny

ha i had a teacher at my old school who was really strong (mid-50s) and i always used to mess with him and call him an old man. He was the teacher who carried me in from the field when i tore my acl and couldnt walk. The one day someone got like 53 outta 60 on a test and he was like "thats a good number" and everyone was like "why" and he said it was his age so i was like like "Oh i thought you were seventy-four..." and he just stared at me and threatened to rip my lips off. He did that a lot.

haha my phys teacher/jv soccer coach claims he wasnt in the ufc (we think he was), but at practice one day one of the seniors was making fun of him, so he picked him up, flipped him over so his head was facing the ground, and was about to drop him on it before throwing him off to the side

edited to include- o yea, my world history teacher "was" an alcoholic and they found alcohol in his desk, so now he sits in a kiddy desk at the front of the room, its pretty funny :imparied:

i dont know about "fun" and "laidback"... but the our teacher is cool and no one knew each other at first, but now we all are really tight. we still work a lot and stay on task. but we goof around every now and then and have a good time and the teacher gets in on it a lot

i was in advanced math, dotn know the differecne and failed that course so was moved down to regular and since i already no all this stuff because i took this class earlier in the year i just sit in my seat and listen to my i-pod and still pass the class with flying colors. So mine is fun and laid back untill i get yelled out to get the i pod out of my ears or it gets taken away. And the kids in my class can make anyone laugh and my teacher is a little crazy so that males it ok at times also.

I don't really enjoy my Geometry class, but it's an easy A and my teacher is very laid back. Geometer's Sketchpad? Haha we use that too, but he can't honestly expect us to be doing that crap when we have laptops in front of us, and he doesn't get up to check to see if we're doing what he asked.

In 8th grade my math class was awesome. We had this 20 something year old teacher that was so hot. She always wore a thong to. I swear to god she wanted all of us guys mostly to know she was wearing one. I miss middle school.:( Now I am a jr. with a 48 year old teacher. :crying:

AyetalianStalion, what you failed to mention was that there was only 12 kids in the class, it makes it way more fun when the teacher is like you can figure it out and then lets you do whatever you want, by the way im now playing with Huey's lax stick during class. shetdawg was fine with it until i hit kenney while trying to do a trick.

Well, I used to have the math class from hell. I dropped it after failing the first three tests, and not to be cocky but Im not exactly an idiot, pulled a 2110 on my SATs without much studying. But this class was hard to the max, to rather than have to spend 4 hours a night(I kid you not, and I know some who spent more than that studying) on this class to barely eek out a C, and in the process neglect my other classes, i dropped. So now Im a TA for the french teacher, and Im taking the class at community college over the summer.

My math class last year was fun....

This year though, my Civics/Free Enterprise class is even more awesome. Teacher is my Key Club sponsor, and for some reason he likes me. I mess with hin all the time but he never gets really mad unless he's having a bad day. Some days I'll randomly get up and like teach with him or something, but its cool.

my history class is awesome. at the beginning of my class, the teacher says one or two current events, then he pretty much lets us do whatever we want for the rest of the period. his class is on a new wing in our school, and all the teachers there are pretty cool, so we can roll around the halls in rolley chairs and yell and stuff. its really fun. my math class used to be pretty good, but then about halfway through the year my teacher became an assistant principal, and he is really strict now.. it sucks

My geom teacher cracks the wierdest jokes. One day he is like "Why is everyone feeling so tired??? Here is a knock knock joke to cheer you up. Knock knock (whos there) No one......." He also gets annoyed at me when I do my party boy beats and my grudge moan (the raspy crackling moan)

my math class talks way too much and my teacher will lose it becuz they never stop. but im never talking so its really annoying. my history class is cool though. i hav a really lazy teacher and 2 of my best friedns and some other good friends. we just screw around the whole time.
