Help with goalie stringing...

I strung my web pro w/ 10 diamond and the pocket was extremely deep. problem is that i didnt even try to make it deep. i strung the same head w/ 17 diomond and it was super shallow. i did everything the same but could never find the problem? any suggestions on what to do? thanks!

well with 17d it is harder to get a deeper pocket than with 10d. try open sidewall (outburst's tutorial is good) and just pound it and stretch the mesh to death, that's all you can do.

10d is naturaly going to break in very deep because of the diamond size. comparing it to the much much smaller diamonds of 17d, its the exact opposite with 17d. 17d is meant to be strung open sidewall.
