Ghittleman is the best. Sean Brady out of Huntington is 2, some might argue.

1) Ghittleman
2) Galloway
3) up for grabs
Ghittleman and Galloway play in tough conferences on top 25 teams and have 70%+ save percentages against good competetion which equals tough shots...and after seeing both of them personally play, there are no question #1 and 2

Your original post and title of the thread aren't exactly the same, but whatever. Kind of hard to compare all of the HS goalies together as there could very well be a kid out there who saves like no other, but doesn't get as much press as he should. Just keep that in mind.

i dont know about that...lilax...i am sure they are other off-the-radar goalies but the ones who gets the press coverage are their for a reason and they have proved under national level media on nationally recognized programs...put simply...these guys play against the best all year around and succeed all year round against the top teams in the country...they deserve to be the best goalies

I'm not saying they're not some of the best goalies, they probably are and will go on to do great things, but it's not like college ball where you can accurately compare two goalies. You simply can't compare two kids who will never face a common opponent. There is no way someone can get around and look at every HS goalie, and I'm willing to bet that there are a few all-stars out there that just aren't on the right teams or in the right area to get the right coverage. You know, the ones who don't have the all-star defenses in front of them year round and probably see two to three times as many shots as these other top goalies would. You'll never be able to say so-and-so is clearly the best HS goalie, because there's no way you'll ever be able to put him up against someone else from a completely different region. HS is way too spread out and not connected enough at this point and time to really ever definitively say someone is the best. When they get to college, it's a different story, but for now, I truly think it's impossible to say someone is the best goalie in HS.

You sir, are correct. He's amazing. Jamie Piraino from my school (CNS) is great. But he broke his hand so he's out. Last year as a junior he was stuffing guys on his doorstep like it was his job! Well, it is his job, but you know what I mean.

That's our varsity goalie, he is pretty crazy but definatly not the best...maybe he would be considered decient on a countrywide scale. He is nuts though, ive never seen a goalie come out of the cage more then jim. He partipates in clears as if he was a dpole.
