What year are you and do you want to play college ball (non-club)? Club lax these days is becoming more and more of a tool used to recruiting, so most teams like CC Lax are not only expensive, but most will take up a lot of your free weekends during the summer traveling and playing. If you're not really into that, or not really at that age yet, I'd suggest you look for just a summer league and attend a camp or something. Camps will also help you get your lacrosse skills back while learning more, so that might be something you're more interested in. It's up to you, but if lacrosse was only a free-time thing, I wouldn't really want to put all that time, effort and money into CC Lax. But like I said, it's really up to you and what you're looking to do over the summer and the next few years.

i'm curenttly and sophmore at old mill high, in MD. i am think about playing in college, but im just worried that me not playing for a high school (i played for key school my freshmen yr) will affect my chances of getting on a team whether it is d1 or d3

The red team or mid level team for a CCLax is strong. All the girls on the red teams can play at the Varsity level from the 2010's on up. The ? is do you enjoy it enough to pay 2,ooo a year for 8-10 tournaments and 10-12 practices?

I have heard of the 1-2 girls who put in the effort and jumped to the top team the next year. If money is not tight for your family then it is worth doing. Also you have to love the game.

It would have been a better idea to play HS ball. College coaches are going to look at you, and most will consider that a blemish on your record that reflects poorly on you.
Why didn't you play?
