I'm using a bionic right now but just ordered a revo pro and know that it is very pinched compared to a bionic. I know its harder to catch pinched so what are tips for my change. I tried catching with my friend's answer and it wasn't so bad but they weren't passes under pressure.

just catch it. it's not that different if your skilled or practiced enough. maybe catch it up by the scoop more?

I don't think there are alot of tips for catching with a pinched head, probally none. You just need to get use to it

The main thing you want to work on, especially while wallballing with a pinched head you aren't used to, is watching the ball into the stick. Combine that with soft hands and repetition on the wall and it should start to feel more natural. From there move onto having a teammate(s) or friend pressure you while you catch and throw and work from that into a scrimmage.

It's just less room for error for where you catch. Practice.

PRACTICE, i'm using a helix and I used to use a brine radius. After practicing I can catch almost everthing.

try catching the ball around the shooting strings instead of near the throat

just watch it into the stick. it'll get more natural as you use it more.

dont catch the ball in the thraot of the stick catch it near the top where the ball comes out of since that is the widest point of the head.

don't lunge at the ball, let it come to you. moving your stick into the ball will create more error. instead move the ball and have the stick ready for wherever the ball is going

If you need tips for catching with a pinched head then you shouldn't have gotten it in the first place, but its really not different than catching with unpinched.

less room for error, make sure the ball is settled intp the pocket or it will look like you've cradled before you actually caught it as it wil boble out if its not in there completely. just takes a bit of practice

Just hit the wall as much as possible. It will come natural. Learning to play I was using a warrior warpath, and until I could get a better head I got used to it being unpinched. In my last game though, my friend asked me if I wanted to use his brine answer (which is pretty pinched) and it took me a few minutes before the game to get used, but once I got the natural feel of things, I didn't miss a pass in game.
