i dont know if this is the right place to post this..i hope it is. My wrist have been killing me lately. They hurt 24/7 now..but im constantly useing my stick. i took a day off but they are still hurting. i ice them and heat them and eat advil like they are candy. Last practice it got so bad i almost couldnt cradel during 3 0n 3 drills. I dont wanna show that it hurts to my coach but i asked a senior what i should do an he said to tape them for a few practices.... will that help? and any other ideas? its not like an injury they are just amazingly soar and i cant take anytime off lol.

well you could tape them and when they start hurting tell your coach, i mean think about it the more you use them the more there going to hurt
so to heal them you would need some periods of rest for them to recooperate

Don't tape them, I don't really see how that can help. Take a weekend off if you can. It's probably just because you are not used to using your wrists so much and you aren't getting a chance to take time off.

probably overtraining them. take a break and give them a rest

Actually, taping would probably help. If you aren't going to stop playing for them to heal, which sounds like what's going on, I would get some tape and just wrap them up. I would say not too much to where you can't move them at all, but that would probably be best since you aren't gonna stop. It will make it much harder to cradle and such, but it would probably best. Maybe invest in some kind of braces too. Talking to a doctor and resting them would be the best thing to do though, without a doubt.

Is it joint or muscle pain?
there are a few things you could try, you seem to be in ME so it is probably cold maybe a sweatband or neoprene wrap would help keep your wrists warm and loose. You could also try heating and stretching your wrists before you play.
Also I find that Glucosamine HCL and Condroitin Sulfate suppliments help my joints feel good. But that is more of a long term solution because they seem to take a couple of weeks to really start helping. Some people also like MSM and gelatine but I didn't feel like they helped me.

yes it is cold=/...but my right wrist went all tingly the other day=/ but we have the weekend off an they r hurting less. tapeing did help..but the i had to work herder to cradel because it restricted my movement.i wish i could just take somethign and make it stop.
and im not going to tell my coach or a doctor so please dont say that to me...we hav oru first game in a week an i hope a scrim. tommrow if its not canceled
