So I've been delegated to mainly FOGO this year, my first year playing. The other day we played a crappy team and I played middie for the fourth quarter. At one point I took a perfect feed from x, wound up, shot, bounced it, and watched it go 5 feet wide of the goal. I felt preeeety stupid. So the problem is: when I reach back to shoot I bring the head of the stick towards my head rather than straight back. I'm pretty sure this is causing my shots (and passes) to go down and to the right. I've tried to fix it, but I can't seem to be able to. I still tilt the stick slightly at the last second. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to fix the problem? Any drills or positioning tips? All help would be great. Thanks

Wall Ball.

Find a wall. Mark a 10 inch by 10 inch square and throw until you hit it everytime. Then start working on your non-dominant side.

You can also mark a spot on the ground a few feet in front of the wall to work on bounce shots. (don't forget righty and lefty!!)

You'll be surprised how fast your shot accuracy improves.

Break down the steps of your shots and take them all serperatly. you should find your problem and a place to improve.
