Do dents effect the shaft's use/gameplay? I recently bought this kpro with 2 dents on it (my first shaft) also is there a way to get rid of them? I'm curious since i'm new to the sport and tried looking through the forums, thanks

Well unless the dents are extreme dents, no it will not really mess up your game play, the only thing that could happen is that you could get annoyed every time you slide your hands down the shaft and you feel the dent, which if you get annoyed easily than ya that could be a problem. So unless its an extreme dent or even worse than that the only way it could affect your playing is if 1) you cant deal with the serious indentations, 2) if its bad enough that your shaft is bent, which probably will make it illegal, and 3) it could mess up your playing cause it could break quite easy since its been weakened.
To fix dents what I do (I learned this on the forums here) is take a stick that is just a little bit narrower than the inside of the shaft, make sure this stick is pretty strong, and is longer than the shaft. Then put the stick in the shaft where the dents are and push hard on the stick while holding the shaft vertically on the ground, do this a few times and you will realize that the dents aren't as extreme as they were. This may not work if 1) the dent is too small that the stick wont push it back out, and 2) if the dent is too severe that its actually touching the other side of the shaft from the inside, in that case your shaft would prolly be bent so you'd have to get a new one. Also if this does work it isn't guaranteed that it will get the dents smooth/straight again, you will always have a small dent, it just wont be that noticeable.
Good luck and hope you get you shaft fixed.

Dents on a shaft don't bother me. I have about 100 dents on my CrissCross but I feel that they give the shaft a little extra grip. It just feels better with them to me. Is that just me?

be very careful about what you put down through your shaft, i recently did this to get a dent out in my stick and now the shaft that was inserted is stuck in my shaft, I tried everything and couldn't get it out. I had to cut the shaft off flush with the top and now my stick is two ounces heavier.

As long as your shaft is straight I think it should be fine. Dents won't effect your game
