Does anyone know about the new Mikey Powell Voyce? I've seen it advertised in Brine magazines and on the internet but my local store has nothing and I don't hear anyone talk about it. Is it for real? Is it on the market? Is it any good?

It didn't pass several tests to qualify the Voyce in the market. I believe it was the strength of the plastic. If not, correct me. However, I heard it was going to be released by April 15.

yeah it's supposed to be out by the 15th, and it's been delayed til then because of problems with the plastic molding. it's being made in italy by the world's premier plastic molders, so something good is supposed to come out of this, but we'll see i guess...

if it turns out to be good, i'm probably gonna get one, but i'm not holding my breath.

I saw it at a camp I am at, an it is really cool.....I didn't feel anything wrong with the plastic, but I am no expert.....I do know one of the reasons they were having such a hard time with it was because it is made with 2 different plastic's. This is normally a pain to deal with, but with this design they can make the head two different colors for you.....that is what the brine rep told us at the camp I went to.

That's probably because you are used to seeing defenseman using Edges, and the side profile of the voyce looks like the edge, with the straight offset line.

not really..plenty of kids use razer pros on defense..and I use a clutch on defense..its all preference..

anyway... I have only seen one of these in person, and I would put it right up there with the swerve in terms of playability and durability..

a very nice stick to play with, but very flimsy on checks and gb's

well, the swerve has just about the weakest throat i have ever seen. i know 2 kids who had their swerves crack at the throat, so for you to say that the voyce matches the swerve in durability...eh, doesn't really do it for me :concerned .

lol wow, that gives NCAA players about 7 months of actual lacrosse (this precludes summer and fall ball) to use it before they have to trash it for heads that meet the '09 spec.

Thought I'd bring this back because the Voyce is in stock at Rock-It Pocket, Lacrosse.com, Laxshopper, Laxworld, and Laxunlimited, and I also heard about it coming in different color combos from RP, looks good though.

No no its not. I PRE OREDERED a voyce back in november and after 6 months of waiting i never got it. It wasnt untill like a week ago that i got an email from Great atlantic saying that the head would be discontinued and is expected to hit the market again on 11/15/07 and for the inconvinence they are going to send me a pack of limited edition mikey powell lacrosse balls. :clap: anyway they gave me my 103 dollars back and im gonna order it again in november.

Rock-it pocket- It doesnt let you click on it..and its been there forever
Lacrosse.com- If you choose it..it says backordered till mid November
Laxshopper- they dont even sell anything they just list sites that do.
Laxunlimited- says its backordered till november

Its displayed on the sites but its not in stock...and it better come in different colors...because so far its a MAJOR let down..considering its been pushed back like 8 months...

They advertised it because it was origionally supposed to come out in like February...but because of issues with "The Worlds Finest Mold Makers" (not too fine now are they?) they had to push it back

The voyce is up on www.sportsstop.com. Under the add to cart button it says it will be available in mid to late august but you can still add it to your cart. You can even go to ckeckout with it but i havent ordered one yet so im not sure if someone just made a mistake or what.

The rep I talked to last weekend was using one, he said they were testing them out and will be ready for the fall. It's nice looking, pretty pinched in the front
