Hey,
the title pretty much says it all. But yeah my brother is 10 and I wanted to get him an easy to use, inexpensive stick. he likes playing with my girl's field stick so I figured I'd get him a guys stick for his birthday and do a neat dye job. Either a complete stick or seperate head and shaft are fine

I'd look to Gait or STX for quality beginners sticks. STX has the AV8 which is a great head, for beginners or even D. Gait has the Icon, and the pheonix. http://www.lacrosse.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=1554&pcount=&Product_Id=110098

Well it depends what you are willing to pay. A Brine Cyber or STX AV8 or Gait Triton and a nice shaft like an STX Vanadium and Zirconium, or a Warrior Platinum shaft.

Gait Triton. Good scoop, (pre pinch) good upper head catching area, (pre pinch) semi tight throat, (to teach him to catch properly.....pre pinch) and they're affordable. Throw it on a decent light shaft and let him have at it. When he gets a little more advanced, pinch it and let him work on really good technique.

brine now has cheap heads, vapor, cyber, that are cheap but still good for when he gets better.
