That made me laugh...
But honestly, if you get into a good boarding school, they'll give you enough financial aid to make it possible for you to attend. The most prestigious schools literally have endowments in the hundreds of millions of dollars. So basically, if you're smart and get accepted, there's a good chance you can attend.
Even if a school costs 35,000 at face value, if you come from a low/mid-income family, they'll give you a chunk o' change (say, 30,000) so you have the oppurtunity to go.

me, too. thats pretty funny.
you need to talk to the guidance counsellor at your school. they should be a help finding a school. some, but not all boarding schools give financial aid. and yes boarding school is quite expensive

I should probably be more clear. There are some boarding schools that offer extremely generous financial aid options. This is not to say that every boarding school has the means (or inclination) to do this. A good way to guage how your assets match with the cost of the school is to go to www.boardingschoolreview.com.
They have both tuition and average financial aid grant information for many schools, which should help you out.

yeah, but boarding school isnt for everyone, i live in the same town where Choate Rosemary Hall is, and a lot of kids dont like it there.
(BTW Choate is a very pristegous school, Ivanka Trump, Harrison Ford's daughter, and JFK went here. $235 million endpwment compared to the average $15 million)
SO come to thw town of Wallingford CT, bcome smart, meet rich kids, go to a good college, AND most importantly, meet me.

well from what i have found is that most good boarding schools are in new england. i mean there are some in DC and Pennsylvania but most will be in Connecticut and Massachusetts. The schools that i found have the nicest campuses are deerfield, hotchkiss, choate, taft and westminster. i go to canterbury which is in connecticut and its allright but it is not for everyone. and almost all of these boarding schools tuition is more than a college tuition. like canterbury is $38,000 for boarding. i mean you get financial aide if you need it but there are no full scholarships or anything like that given out.

Actually, 38,000 isn't more than most colleges.
Ampky, I looked at Choate, it seemed very nice. However, I ended up not applying.
