Wierd Pocket

I strung my friend's stick, since he had a crappy factory stringing with loose sidewalls. It was illegal, so he asked me to restring it. It was really hard to get the sidewalls tight, but it got to be like a corner pocket when i pulled them taught, as opposed to being saggy under the sidewall. Is this bad? I've got some pictures to show you how it turned out.

u need to strech the mesh more before you put it on

try pinching the head and interlocking, I did a head that was wider then that that was not offset and all I did was interlock and got it tight

Sig is illegal and pocket is...weird.

Take a look at most of the other member's sticks. You'll notice that the "loops" should normally be as tight as possible. Looser sidewalls = pocket swing/unpredictability.

that is really weird...take the mesh out and run in under warm water for like a minute, then stretch it out a lot
ur sidewalls seem wrong anyway, but that might just be because it is so loose

Every other head that I've strung has turned out great, but this one was just generally wierd. I broke the mesh in before I strung it. I tightened the sidewalls just now, and they still sit inside the head. They're right against the sidewall now, so I think I'll just finish pounding it in and be done with it. After all, it throws fine, and I haven't noticed any inconsistency in the release.

It's a Warrior Patriot. I just threw them in to try it out before it was too dark. I plan to redo them. What I really need to know is if the sidewalls will be ok in the long run.

my coach does his sidewalls like that, but he has two stings running through the sides of the mesh, just like the open sidewalls on goalie sticks
