It seems pretty one sided but I am sure most of you can agree that the whole case was bogus. It brought up some points I had no idea about like when Jessie Jackson paid that stripper's college tuition, ridiculous. If this is up on this site then close my link, I couldn't find it anywhere though.

I wouldn't have anything against the case if it wasn't used as an attack on the sport itself, the players of that sport, and if the evidence was actually there to make a real case. Obviously, this guy had little, but was so driven to make it work that he had to try anything he could to get the Duke players. Having the media, who will jump on and manipulate anything create a race/class/social scandal is sad. Going after the players like that and make the case into something its not, and try to hurt the image of everyone associated w/ the sport really gets me mad.

Anyone who knows a lax player obviously wouldn't believe this stuff; but since alot of people dont know anything about the sport, and it is growing, or trying to, has really tainted lacrosses image in places it doesn't yet exist.

it is sad how this was the largest news coverage lacrosse has recieved nationally ever. i hope this doesn't stop the growth of the sport.
