Atleast you can wallball :(
But anyways, just try to find another place to do it.
Why'd you get thrown out?

This may be in the wrong forum but;

Thrown out for playing wall ball in Baltimore? There is a story there somewhere . . .

Here in AZ they just stare at us wondering what we are doing. Almost got thrown out at LA Fitness though because they have fiberboard walls that echo and I was "disturbing" the other guests.

i get thrown out everywhere i go. mostly elementary schools and such. they usually just say "this is private property blah blah blah" or complain we might break a window--even if there are none in a particular section. some even call the cops. so yeah, just try out different places. youll find somewhere where they wont care/notice.

i get, your gonna break a window a lot from the middle school principle(i'm in HS). the best wall around is right next to the middle school classes and since i get out of HS earlier than the middle school kids i hit the wall b4 practice.
he also say's i'm disturbing class, wich is kind of understandable

I got warned for using a hard ball in a racquetball court. So I bought one of those soft balls, and they haven't bothered me since.

no but like if i have a lax wall, but i live like 5 min bike ride from a middle school with a big wall, would it b more worth it to go to the school or jst play on my walla

take the bike ride......it'll also help w/ your legs some, but if you almost get in trouble w/ law enforcement then buy a rebounder

i actually oulinted a goal in chalk on the elementary schools wall. there's no windows in the area and there's only about 6 feet of pavement and then it's all grass and soccer fields and such. so i'll either stand on the egde and just pass to myself or i'll back up and shoot. it's a lot better then a real goal cause it bounces back to me. the cop was called when i was actually chalking the wall cause the person thought i was spray painting, but when he came he saw it was chalk and that i was using it for lacrosse he didn't care at all. he actually said "carry on... just don't break anything" followed by a chuckle. so i just walk up anytime i want and start playing.

i would rather walk down the street than pay $150 for a lax wall.

Yeah, the JV sqaud at South Lyon had to play wallball for 20 minutes every day during practice, but the AD came out and said they might break the bricks...

I've gotten kicked out of places, no big deal. Just go 15 feet in any direction, you'll find another wall.

a lot of people here hit a specific wall at our middle school. the wall has been replaced 2 times in the last years and it will need to be soon again. my school might not alow us to hit the wall their anymore :(

I can't go to any elementary school because they always say I can't use the wall.

I just got sick of it and bought a rebound wall.

Call me crazy but i use the basketball court.
I'd just hit the board behind the basket, it helps with my accuracy and keeps people from bothering me about it.

The only downside is the basket itself because when hit it's ball chasing time, so i have to be accurate.

I go to an Elementary School down the street from my house.
They don't care at all which I love.

a few times. but once really ticked me off. i had been there for about 30 minutes playing, didnt hit any windows or doors or anything but the wall. a teacher inside comes out of the fire exit and says "okay you're done". i continue to play and as i am i say "try asking politely" she said "don't make me call security", so i just left.

I just found this thread.
I play at the local elementary school and they recently made a sign right where I wall ball that says "No ball playing in this area", and i think its cause of me cause no one else plays there lol.

there is a wall right in my back yard, and it's pretty awesome. i live right next door to an auto parts store, and i'm wall ballin' all the time with no complaints. not everyone can be as lucky as i am... or as handsome. :)

I live in a condo area so the people are alwyas jerks. The manager and security dont liek me playing against any walls. So theres a tennis court wall that I play. Im trying to break a hole through it, I have a dent so far. But yesterday i found a really nice wall in a good spot to play at. I also have a goal but i cant keep it outside so i dont use it much.

Before practice we always used the huge 40 foot wall near the gym enterance. The gym teachers get pissed but we keep on doing it. I will probably start going there more often than near my house since its perfect.

At the YMCA in the winter time or when there was really foul weather I would play wall ball inside the raquetball courts, I would always be kinda and respectful to the other guests but there will always be one that will chew you out. I even asked the front desk if they had any problem with me using a normal lacrosse ball and they had no objections, I would usually keep a soft lacrosse ball with me incase I get warned. Now they have a huge red sign that states that the courts are only for raquet ball and squash, and it says the different types of balls that are not allowed and they put lacrosse first. I think I'm the reason because i never saw any other lacrosse players in there. No worries I still have half a dozen schools within walking distance of me.

My father brought me down to a Nassau County Park in Merrick to do some wall ball on a early Sunday morning. Within 5 minutes we were told to "Stop, and leave", my father asked why? The Park employee responded, "Lax balls put holes in concrete! We both looked at him like he had 3 heads, and he also said, "If you don't leave, I will have to call the police! We left and my father told the guy what he could do with himself...
