The annual Green Gael Classic tournament will take place on Saturday April 14th at Garnet B. Rickard Recreational Complex in Bowmanville. Entered into this year's tournament are The Saints and the Huntsville Hawks as well as two Green Gael squads.

Admission is the purchase of a 50/50 ticket or the donation of a non-perishable food item at the gate or both.

Green Gael Classic Schedule

9:00 A.M. GAELS 1 VS SAINTS

10:30 A.M. GAELS 2 VS HUNTSVILLE

12:00 P.M. GAELS 2 VS SAINTS

1:30 P.M. SAINTS VS HUNTSVILLE

3:00 P.M. GAELS 1 VS HUNTSVILLE

For the stated admission price, this is one bargain for some excellent pre-season box lacrosse. Because these games are used to evaluate players on all the teams entered, there is some pretty good competition. If you are in the area, drop by.

i hope its not just fight after fight this year, kinda ruins the game after the 4th or 5th one.

Last year was quite good for fights. There weren't many last year. Last year was quite good though.

Yeah I think it was 05 that was chippy, esp. between the Saints and AKO Fratmen. Good game though.

not one fight,some good trash talkin and contect though. some good lacrosse and some very meh lacrosse.( last game was horrid)

I was pretty disappointed by the outcome personally and overall.
