Heard about it today, seriously impressive on both sides. Impressive streak (I don't care where you play, 104 wins is seriously mind boggling), but also an impressive win. You definitely don't hear about people beating MTH that often, and certainly not by 8 goals. Way to represent NYS!

I thought they only had 103 wins and tied the record. They were looking to break the record today after this game.

Yeah, looks like it was, my bad. They got their 100th win against Atholton and they had three games after that before their loss to West Genny. Still, 103 or 104, I wish my team could just win 10 games in a row!

All streaks come to an end. At least Mount Hebron can say they lost to a better team. So this means the number one spot is up in the air, unless WG can hold on for the rest of the season. Should be interesting.

Edit: I'm reposting to add to the real discussion.

Yeah....shocking news to the whole girl's lacrosse community. Im sure pretty much everyone has heard....think about how much it would stink to be on hebron and having everyone make such a huge deal about you losing? theres no other way to make you feel worse i guess. but i def commend them on the amount of wins they had. veryyy veryy honorable. hopefully the lacrosse community is able to focus on the amount of wins rather than the one loss

It's amazing, but I can't say I'm that surprised. Everyone who keeps up with high school lax knows that West Genesee seriously represents when it comes to lacrosse, boys and girls.

My team might be getting a player from there for fall 2008. Sounds good to me. :)
