Any teams doing anything together in the offseason
We are doing captain run scrimmages once a week, and Freshman and Sophmores from last year are going to Notre Dame.
Just Curious on what other teams are doing.
I know Rockhurst also goes up to Notre Dame

last fall/winter there was a league at sportport it was called braves or something like that its pretty much the same as th qc summer league

i was told by one of the coaches there that the all star team is pre picked and the high school coaches pre pick the players from there teams to be represented in the all star game, regardless the 3 guys who made is deserved it, more guys from the stl team deserved spots. and 4-0

in no order: Rockhurst, Desmet, CBC, MICDS, Layfayette, Parkway Central, SLUH, Pembroke, Kirkwood, Olathe East are mine. i dont know much about the SLU schools just basing it off of last year. but olathe east and pembroke have some good players so i dunno what you think?

Plus we Have three very talented face off mids and a very strong Attack and not to mention the unbelievable Goalie we have.
All I have to say is look out for Hickman this year.

oh ya i heard about hickman having 7 returning, forgot. dude all i know is olathe has one of the best attackmen ive seen. thats why they are on there. he went to camp with us. and one of their middies too.

I think we have more than that.
Our whole varsity team from last year is back.
we only lost two seniors and they were JV players.

My top 10 prediction in no particular order: CBC, Rockhurst, Parkway West, Hickman, DeSmet, SLUH, MICDS, Lafayette, Kirkwood, Parkway South

shu i disagree, i must say my top 10 in no order is. CBC, parkway west, HICKMAN rcokhurst sluh desmet. pwc. ,micds. lafyette, south lost way to many people and doesnt have the skill to hold it down this year.

thats a good question, i think most people will throw John Hunt, Pat Larmon, even Nick Silva in there as the answer. There are many overlooked players tho. Here are a few who could be considered, I probably wouldnt label them the BEST EVER but were def damn good players:
Jimmy Dole and Bryan Lyss-MICDS attackmen
Pat Dunleavy-DeSmet defender
Zeis and Weis- attackmen from CBC
Bob Edmundowicz-middie desmet
John Hunt- goalie MICDS
of course Blumenthal from laf has to be mentioned

they werent the best ever but were def good

Whats everyone's oponion about the 2 divisions? I think its pretty weak that they want to split the teams. What would be the point in playing in division 2 if you dont get to play in a state tournament? I'm just curious to what you guys think.

i think there will just be 2 state tournaments, A and B. but i'd rather play in the A division and not win than win alot in B. just because the lacrosse would be better in div. A

hey where did this divisions thing come from?? i havent hear about it even being negociated? i dont like the idea because the lacrosse community isnt big enough in missouri yet to make a big seperation like that....hmmm....cite the sources biznatch...

There will be 2 Divisions next year and each one will have their own playoffs. The rest of the details are still being worked out.

I think Parkway West and Kirkwood have showed they can hang with anyone in the state and i believe CBC has also stepped it up this year. Its kind of a down year for DeSmet and MICDS when compared to the past few years and Rockhurst seems to be doing not quite what they did last year, but are making it known that they are the team to beat.I went to the Lafayette vs. DeSmet game tonight. Lafayette controlled the whole game with Jerry carrying them the whole way. i want to say the final score was 7-3 lafayette, but dont quote me on that. Andy Howell still looks solid for Desmet.

Im from CBC and I dont know how we were in the 06 season but last season (2007) we won state by beating Rhockerst 9-8 OT. Kirkwood has always been good though and West i dont know about there past but they gave us no trouble this past season. DeSmet was really good too and have been for a while. MICDS also a great team, huge school.

MICDS is actually one of the smallest schools with a team. Also, with the exception of two years ago, west has always been decent. I think kirkwood proved that last year they could hang, but I dont know about this year.

I think his name was Pat Larmon but not for sure
