I just got a new lacrosse stick, brine prophesy,and it has some plastic mesh holders on the sidewalls, it sais they enhance your cradling so the ball stays in in case of a stick check do you think it really helps?

No, they were a gimmick to entice people to buy the head.
It's a decent head, but its fragile so don't expect it to last.

I've never been a fan of add ons to a head or extra moving parts (STX Liquid) but.... if it's working for you go with it. Whether it helps or not you seem to like it. When you use a head that's comfortable you can concentrate on the game rather than wondering what your stick is going to do. So if it's working, go score! Remember it's not the wand it's the wizard.
