Hello everyone. I was wondering if there was any difference between NCLL and NCAA rules and where I could find NCLL rules. I've tried the NCLL site, but the rules section isn't up, which is a pain. I'm wondering this, because in our games this season, the refs always seem to be mixing up rules and there is no consistency between games, sometimes even between refs. One game we'll play 10 seconds to get it out of the box, the next game, we'll have 20 seconds to clear the mid line, sometimes there will be a flag down and they blow the whistle when the ball is dead, other times the other team has to get possession of the ball. This is really confusing since I'm the goalie and like to keep track of what's going on. So yea, some documentation would be very helpful! Thanks!

There is no clear time. The refs get confused, but it is supposed to be when the ball hits the ground. I'm surprised the rules section isnt still up. What specifically is it, just the clear times?

I would suggest you contact the commish. We use the US Lacrosse post collegiate club rules. Using these rules - there are no counts, mouth pieces are not required, etc.

The MDPCC (Mens Division Post Collegiate Club Council) rules use the NCAA rulebook as there basis as opposed to modifying International Rules. The rationale is that officials only have to be familiar with one rule book. The modifications do not create a problem for the officials because few of them involve situations where they have to stop and think about which rules apply.

Since I write the MDPCC rules I would be more than happy to send you a set or answer any questions that you have. I am listed on the American Lacrosse League website (www.americanlacrosseleague.org). Go to the administration section. My e-mail address is the same as my handle on this site.

We play under American Club rules, nt the MDPCCC. NCLL is the collegiate club teams on the east coast to the midwest, many of the teams have a varsity squad and are not allowed to be MDIA or MCLA whatever it is.

be wary. I dont know if it's the same rules, like I said NCLL goes by like American club rules or somethin like that. No clear times, dont necessarily have to have a mouthguard etc.

If they're the same boy will I be red in the face, but I am not sure. I just remember reading much from the NCLL website about the stuff.
