women's defensive stick?

what stick is ideal for a freshman highschool defender? i have the debeer myssy and i am ready for an upgrade! if you are a defender, what stick do you use, and what is recommended for a defender? I usually play d wing if that helps. thanks!

i like the envy too....i am convinced that its wider throat has allowed me to block more passes on defense haha

i don't want it to be too heavy... do you think it would be good to pare up an envy head with a lightweight triax 803 debeer shaft to even out the weight?

i've been trying out sticks and i think everyone is too heavy for some reason.. i guess i just have to get used to it because the stick i had was soo light because it was a beginner's

I love the envy and I play defense. At first it was an adjustment because my old stick was SO light. But now if I ever use my old stick, I hate it. I definatly like the weight now. Plus since it is heavier it is easier to check.

I played with my friends apex today (we switched sticks) and I thought it seemed like a good stick. It is still somewhat heavy, but I thought it was lighter than the envy.

i used to have the myssy! :chuckle: i have a debeer apex now. it's pretty solid for checking and it's good for ground balls too. :thumbsup:
